Liability Disclaimer

Arctic Campers AS does not assume any responsibility for misuse of the equipment by the renter. The renter confirms that they have informed themselves about current avalanche conditions and weather conditions before using the equipment. Arctic Campers AS is not liable for any harm or injuries that may occur during the renter’s snowshoe excursion.

Contract Agreement

This contract is established between the booking customer and Arctic Campers AS (www.snowshoes.no). All personal data provided on this website will be processed and used in accordance with applicable national and European data protection regulations, exclusively for processing inquiries and online reservations. Arctic Campers AS guarantees the confidentiality of your data and will not sell, rent, or share it with third parties.

Booking Confirmation

By completing a booking, customers confirm the accuracy of their personal data used for professional binding settings. Unauthorized modification of this data is prohibited.

For bookings made by unaccompanied minors, the legal representative assumes full liability.

Equipment Collection and Return

Equipment must be collected on the first day of the rental period and returned by the end of the last rental day. Late returns will incur additional charges based on the current tariffs displayed on site.

Deposit and Payment

Upon equipment collection, customers must present a valid credit card. Arctic Campers AS will place a hold charge of 1,000 NOK per snowshoe set as a security deposit. This amount will be released within 3 business days after the equipment has been returned in satisfactory condition.

If items are returned damaged or beyond the original booking period, Arctic Campers AS reserves the right to charge the deposit to cover repair costs or additional rental fees. Should costs exceed the deposit amount, Arctic Campers AS will send a payment link for the remaining balance, which must be paid within 3 business days.

Customer Responsibilities

• Renters are liable for the proper return of equipment up to its full sales value
• Equipment must not be transferred to third parties
• Renters must store equipment securely to prevent loss or theft
• In case of theft, renters must report to local authorities within 24 hours and notify Arctic Campers AS immediately

Pricing and Changes

All prices include 25% VAT (Norwegian standard rate). Category changes are possible subject to availability and may incur additional charges. No refunds will be issued for downgrades to lower categories.

Reservation Changes and Cancellations

Arctic Campers AS reserves the right to cancel any reservation without explanation. For customer cancellations:

• A cancellation option is available for NOK 150
• Cancellations must be made by 12:00 noon the day before the rental period
• The full amount minus the cancellation fee will be refunded
• Once the rental period has begun, cancellations are not possible

Legal Jurisdiction

All legal disputes relating to reservations, equipment rental, or online purchases are subject to the jurisdiction of Norwegian national courts.
